Est ce le secret d'un itinéraire bien préparé ?

Disons que motardement aujourd'hui c'est une étape fe transition. Ajoutons la (non)qualité des routes qui obligent à rouler l'œil vif et la fesse serrée. 

Mais cette longue étape dans le pied. Du gros orteil vers la plante et remontée vers la malléole présente l'avantage de la variété des paysages.

Ajoutons une certaine créativité ce matin de la part du Garmin qui nous a emmèné en montagne sans que je comprenne pourquoi. Plus loin le chantier de l'autoroute ss106 m'a ouvert les yeux. 

En attendant superbe déjeuner de poissons grillés en bord de mer à Borgata marina puis une après-midi dans des douces collines vertes nous ont permis de rejoindre Alberobello une perle des Pouilles.

Is that the secret to a well-prepared route?

Let's just say that from a rider's perspective, today was a transition leg. Add in the (lack of) quality of the roads, which forces you to ride with a sharp eye and clenched teeth.

Yet, this long journey through the foot of Italy—from the big toe down toward the sole, then back up to the ankle—offered the distinct advantage of ever-changing landscapes.

Throw in a touch of spontaneous creativity from the Garmin this morning, which took us up into the mountains for reasons beyond me. Further down the road, the SS106 highway construction site finally opened my eyes as to why.

In the meantime, a fantastic lunch of grilled fish by the sea in Borgata Marina followed by an afternoon cruising through rolling green hills brought us safely to Alberobello, a true gem of Puglia.
